What is the KNEE study?"
The Knee Study is the most extensive effort to date to examine how educationknee and exercise affect the long-term maintenance of osteoarthritis of the knee.

Three hundred people in the Tucson area from all walks of life will participate in this study over a two year period to help find solutions to one of the most critical health care problems facing people today – osteoarthritis.

To help improve the outcomes of osteoarthritis, researchers from the Arizona Arthritis Center, the University of Arizona and Arizona State University, will work together to investigate how education and exercise affect the long-term maintenance of osteoarthritis of the knee.
