As a research facility, the Arizona Arthritis Center does not provide clinical care. However, we have a strong collaboration with care providers in the Section of Rheumatology and the clinic where comprehensive care is offered while also promoting the education and research goals of the Center. This ideal situation connects clinical care and research with the aim of improving both. Juvenile RheumatologyThe Arizona Arthritis Center is a worldwide leader in cutting-edge pediatric rheumatology research. The Center is a hub of basic and translational pediatric research, with clinical research and care being developed. We are actively recruiting a pediatric rheumatologist to serve the Tucson area.
Dr. Jeffrey Lisse, Rheumatology Section Chief and Professor of Medicine, also sees patients monthly at the CCRS Children's Clinic.
