Life and choice are depicted in the symbol man-in the-maze. This symbol, that has come to serve as a symbol for the O’odham people, seems appropriate for our arthritis program. Man-in the-maze, adopted by other people also, is significant of life’s journey and choices we are confronted with. Through the journey, one acquires knowledge, strength and understanding.

The right choices lead us to a point of harmony with all things, no matter how hard or long the road taken.
