Theodorus van den Broek, M.D. - Research Fellow
Dr. van den Broek has a degree in medicine from the University of Utrecht, College of Medicine, the Netherlands (2006). He is currently working to distill mechanism of clinical response in peptide-specific immune therapy in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in addition to work in the investigation of mechanisms of immune deviation and tolerance induction in JIA/RA with anti-TNFalpha therapy. In the future, Dr. van den Broek looks forward to completing his residency in pediatric medicine and pediatric rheumatology training in combination with earning a PhD focusing on Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (immune deviation/tolerance induction and maintenance). He will continue to collaborate on research projects in the US and the Netherlands.
