Objectives


Participant should be able to:

  • Define systems theory Appreciate the musculoskeletal system as an integrated organ system
  • Discriminate between the structural pathology and the functional pathology of the musculoskeletal system
  • Appreciate the methods of data collection and interpretation required to discern the functional pathology of the musculoskeletal system
  • Understand the contribution of the functional pathology of the musculoskeletal system to chronic regional pain syndromes
  • Appreciate the role of manipulative medicine in reversing the functional pathology of the musculoskeletal system
