The University of Arizona’s rheumatology team provides outstanding clinical care to patients from across Arizona, the nation, and from other countries. Our healthcare providers function within the framework of Banner - University Medicine. Banner - University Medicine practitioners work in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. This entity was created to facilitate better coordination, integration, and promotion of clinical activities to support the College of Medicine’s education, research, and patient-care goals.

Led by the UA’s College of Medicine’s Chief of Rheumatology and Director of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center, C. Kent Kwoh, MD, the Banner - University Medicine Rheumatology Clinics are staffed by five physicians, a physician assistant, and five fellows. In addition, a full-service infusion clinic delivering state-of-the-art biologic therapies as well as intravenous medications is also available as a service to patients of the clinic.
